Wilfried Zaha (born 10 November 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Crystal Palace and the Ivory Coast national team.
Zaha began his career at Crystal Palace, making his debut in March 2010. He quickly established himself as a regular in the team, and helped them win promotion to the Premier League in 2013. However, he was sold to Manchester United later that year for a fee of £15 million.
Zaha struggled to establish himself at United, and was loaned back to Crystal Palace in 2014. He returned to Palace permanently in 2015, and has since become one of their most important players. He has helped the club reach the FA Cup final in 2016 and 2020.
Zaha has also represented Ivory Coast at international level. He made his debut in 2012, and has since earned over 30 caps. He was part of the Ivory Coast squad that won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2015.
Playing style
Zaha is a skilful and pacy winger who is known for his dribbling skills and ability to beat opponents. He is also a good goalscorer, and has scored over 50 goals for Crystal Palace.
Personal life
Zaha was born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, but moved to England at a young age. He is a practising Muslim. Zaha is in a relationship with model and Instagram influencer Paige Bannister. They have two children together.
