Tim Hassan
Tim Hassan (born 17 February 1976) is a Syrian actor. He is best known for his roles in the television series Nizar Qabbani (2000), Al-Zeer Salem (2000), Salah El-Din (2001), Al-Malek Farouk (2007), Omar (2012), and The Return of the Emir (2018).
Hassan was born in Tartous, Syria. He studied acting at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus. After graduating, he began his career in television. He quickly became one of the most popular actors in Syria, and his work has been praised by critics and audiences alike.
In addition to his work in television, Hassan has also starred in several films. His most notable film roles include The Day of the Jackal (2007), The Syrian Bride (2004), and The Door to the Sun (2016).
Hassan has won numerous awards for his work, including the Best Actor Award at the Cairo International Film Festival in 2007 and the Best Actor Award at the Alexandria International Film Festival in 2016. He is also a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme.
