Sylvain Wiltord
Sylvain Wiltord (born 10 May 1975) is a French former professional footballer who played as a forward. He is best known for his time with Arsenal, where he won two Premier League titles and three FA Cups.
Wiltord began his career at Rennes, before joining Bordeaux in 1996. He spent two seasons with Bordeaux, before moving to Arsenal in 1999 for a fee of £13 million.
Wiltord quickly established himself as a regular in the Arsenal team, and was part of the side that won the Premier League title in 2001–02 and 2003–04. He also won the FA Cup with Arsenal in 2002, 2003 and 2005.
In 2004, Wiltord left Arsenal to join Lyon. He spent two seasons with Lyon, before moving to Marseille in 2006. He spent three seasons with Marseille, before moving to Rennes in 2009.
Wiltord retired from playing in 2012. He made 67 appearances for the France national team, scoring 26 goals. He represented France at the 2002 and 2006 FIFA World Cups, and the 2000 and 2004 UEFA European Championships.
After retiring from playing, Wiltord worked as a pundit for French television channel beIN Sports. He also became a football agent, representing players such as Alexandre Lacazette and Nabil Fekir.
In 2019, Wiltord was inducted into the Arsenal Hall of Fame. He is considered one of the club's greatest ever players.
