Ferdous Ahmed (born September 14, 1954) is a Bangladeshi actor, film director, producer, and politician. He has appeared in more than 500 films since 1978. He is one of the most popular actors in Bangladesh.

Early life and education

Ahmed was born on September 14, 1954, in Barisal, Bangladesh. He completed his secondary and higher secondary education from Barisal Cadet College. He then studied at the University of Dhaka, where he earned a degree in economics.

Career

Ahmed began his acting career in 1978, when he appeared in the film "Jadur Banshi". He went on to appear in a number of successful films, including "Beder Meye Josna" (1989), "Shonkhonil Karagar" (1992), "Goriber Bou" (1993), "Mayer Morjada" (1995), and "Prem Piyashi" (1997).

In addition to his acting career, Ahmed has also directed and produced a number of films. His directorial debut was the film "Mayer Morjada" (1995). He has also produced a number of successful films, including "Goriber Bou" (1993), "Mayer Morjada" (1995), and "Prem Piyashi" (1997).
