Nahuel Molina

Nahuel Molina Lucero (born April 6, 1998) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a right back for Atlético Madrid and the Argentina national team.

Club career

Boca Juniors

Molina began his career with Boca Juniors, making his professional debut on November 3, 2016, in a 4–2 victory over Arsenal de Sarandí. He scored his first goal for the club on November 26, 2017, in a 2–1 victory over Atlético Tucumán. Molina made a total of 38 appearances for Boca Juniors, scoring one goal.

Udinese

On July 10, 2020, Molina signed a four-year contract with Serie A club Udinese. He made his debut for the club on September 19, 2020, in a 1–0 defeat to Juventus. Molina scored his first goal for Udinese on November 22, 2020, in a 2–2 draw with Atalanta. He made a total of 68 appearances for Udinese, scoring 10 goals.

Atlético Madrid

On July 28, 2022, Molina signed a five-year contract with La Liga club Atlético Madrid. He made his debut for the club on August 13, 2022, in a 3–0 victory over Getafe.

International career

Molina made his debut for the Argentina national team on September 3, 2021, in a 3–0 victory over Venezuela. He was included in Argentina's squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where he played in all seven of Argentina's matches, including the final against France, which Argentina won on penalties.

Style of play

Molina is a right back who is known for his attacking ability. He is a good tackler and passer, and he is also good at taking free kicks.
