Remo Freuler

Remo Freuler (born 15 April 1992) is a Swiss professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Nottingham Forest and the Switzerland national team.

Club career Freuler began his career with Winterthur, making his debut in the Swiss Challenge League in 2010. He moved to Grasshoppers in 2011, and made his Swiss Super League debut in 2012. He quickly established himself as a regular in the team, and helped them win the Swiss Cup in 2013.

In 2014, Freuler moved to Italian Serie A club Atalanta. He made his debut for the club in August 2014, and quickly became a regular in the team. He helped Atalanta win the Coppa Italia in 2019, and the club also qualified for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history.

In 2022, Freuler moved to Premier League club Nottingham Forest. He made his debut for the club in August 2022, and quickly became a regular in the team. He helped Nottingham Forest avoid relegation from the Premier League in their first season back in the top flight.

International career Freuler made his debut for the Switzerland national team in 2012. He has since become a regular in the team, and has represented Switzerland at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, the 2016 UEFA European Championship, the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and the 2020 UEFA European Championship.

Playing style Freuler is a versatile midfielder who can play in a number of positions. He is known for his passing ability, his tackling, and his work rate. He is also a good set-piece taker.
