Biography
Jimmy Fallon was born on September 19, 1974, in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of James Fallon, Sr., a businessman, and Gloria Fallon, a homemaker. Fallon has two sisters, Gloria and Catherine. He graduated from Saint Francis Preparatory School in Fresh Meadows, Queens, in 1992. He then attended The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, for two years before dropping out to pursue a career in comedy.
Fallon began his career as a stand-up comedian in the early 1990s. He made his television debut on the show "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) in 1998. He quickly became a popular cast member, known for his impersonations of celebrities such as Adam Sandler, Justin Timberlake, and George W. Bush. Fallon left SNL in 2004 to star in his own sitcom, "The Jimmy Fallon Show." The show was canceled after one season, but Fallon returned to SNL in 2005. He hosted the show from 2006 to 2014.
In 2014, Fallon left SNL to host "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." The show has been a huge success, winning numerous awards, including 11 Primetime Emmy Awards. Fallon is known for his energetic personality and his ability to make his guests feel comfortable. He has also been praised for his musical talents.
Personal life
Fallon married Nancy Juvonen in 2007. They have two daughters, Winnie and Frances. Fallon is a Roman Catholic.
