Jason Momoa

Joseph Jason Namakaeha Momoa (born August 1, 1979) is an American actor, model, and producer. He is known for his roles as Ronon Dex in the television series Stargate Atlantis (2005–2009), Khal Drogo in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2011–2012), Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe (2016–present), and Duncan Idaho in the film Dune (2021).

Momoa was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Joseph Momoa, a painter, and Coni Lemke, a photographer. He is of Hawaiian, German, Irish, and Native American descent. Momoa began his career as a model in the early 2000s. He made his acting debut in the television series Baywatch: Hawaii (1999–2001).
