Ahmed Helmy
Ahmed Helmy (born November 18, 1969) is an Egyptian actor, comedian, and producer. He is one of the most popular actors in the Arab world, and has starred in over 20 films.
Helmy was born in Cairo, Egypt. He studied law at Cairo University, but dropped out before graduating. He then began his career as a stand-up comedian, and quickly gained popularity for his witty and observational humor.
In 1999, Helmy made his film debut in the romantic comedy "Ghabbu al Masada". The film was a commercial success, and helped to launch Helmy's career as a leading man. He went on to star in a number of hit films, including "Al Embrator" (2002), "El Nazer" (2004), and "Zaki Chan" (2005).
