Biography
Jaclyn Victor is a Malaysian singer and actress of Indian descent. Born in Kuala Lumpur, she rose to fame after winning the Malaysian reality singing competition, Bintang RTM, in 1999. Victor has released six studio albums, all of which have been certified platinum or higher in Malaysia. She has also won numerous awards, including seven Anugerah Juara Lagu awards, three MTV Asia Music Awards, and two World Music Awards.
Victor's music is a blend of pop, R&B, and soul. She has a powerful voice and a wide vocal range. Her lyrics often focus on themes of love, loss, and empowerment.
