Playing career
Vladimír Weiss is a Slovak professional footballer who currently plays for SK Slovan Bratislava as a midfielder. He is the son of former footballer Vladimír Weiss Sr.
Weiss began his career at Slovan Bratislava, making his debut in 2007. He was signed by Manchester City in 2009, but made only a few appearances for the club before being loaned out to Bolton Wanderers and Espanyol. In 2012, he joined Rangers, where he spent two seasons before moving to Al-Gharafa in Qatar. He has also played for Al-Duhail SC and Qadsia SC.
Weiss has represented Slovakia at the international level, earning over 50 caps and scoring 11 goals. He was part of the Slovak team that reached the round of 16 at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Personal life
Weiss is married to Andrea. They have a son, Dávid, and a daughter, Mia.
