Loreta
Loreta Jane "Lori" Singer (born September 5, 1962) is an American actress. She is the daughter of Jacques Singer and Lesley Gore, a singer and songwriter. Her brother is composer Michael Gore.
Singer began her career as a child actress, appearing in the 1978 film "Zuma Beach" and the 1982 film "Fame". She went on to star in the television series "Fame" from 1982 to 1987, and "The New Twilight Zone" from 1985 to 1989.
In the 1990s, Singer appeared in a number of films, including "Footloose" (1984), "Short Circuit" (1986), "Warlock" (1989), "The Waterdance" (1992), and "Flirting with Disaster" (1996). She also had a recurring role on the television series "ER" from 1996 to 1997.
In recent years, Singer has continued to appear in both film and television roles. She has had recurring roles on the television series "Nip/Tuck" and "The Good Wife", and she has appeared in the films "The Butler" (2013) and "The Big Sick" (2017).
