Tomasz Kammel

Tomasz Kammel (born 1 June 1971) is a Polish television presenter, journalist, and actor. He is best known for hosting the Polish version of the game show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"

Early life and education

Kammel was born in Warsaw, Poland. He graduated from the University of Warsaw with a degree in journalism.

Career

Kammel began his career in television in 1993, when he joined the Polish public broadcaster Telewizja Polska (TVP). He hosted a number of shows on TVP, including the morning show "Kawa czy herbata?" and the talk show "Studio Kultura".

In 2000, Kammel left TVP to join the private broadcaster Polsat. He hosted the Polish version of the game show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" from 2000 to 2003. He also hosted the reality show "Bar" from 2001 to 2005.

In 2006, Kammel returned to TVP. He hosted the Polish version of the talent show "Dancing with the Stars" from 2006 to 2009. He also hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki, Finland.

In 2010, Kammel left TVP again to join the private broadcaster TVN. He hosted the Polish version of the game show "Jeopardy!" from 2010 to 2013. He also hosted the talk show "Kammel i spółka" from 2012 to 2013.

In 2014, Kammel returned to TVP. He hosted the Polish version of the game show "The Chase" from 2014 to 2016. He also hosted the morning show "Świat się kręci" from 2014 to 2017.

In 2017, Kammel left TVP again to join the private broadcaster Polsat. He hosted the Polish version of the game show "Wheel of Fortune" from 2017 to 2018. He also hosted the talk show "Kammel i przyjaciele" from 2018 to 2019.

In 2019, Kammel returned to TVP. He hosted the Polish version of the game show "The Wall" from 2019 to 2020. He also hosted the morning show "Pytanie na śniadanie" from 2019 to 2021.

In 2021, Kammel left TVP again to join the private broadcaster TVN. He hosted the Polish version of the game show "The Voice of Poland" from 2021 to 2022. He also hosted the morning show "Dzień dobry TVN" from 2021 to 2022.

Personal life

Kammel is married to Katarzyna Niezgoda. They have two children together, a son named Filip and a daughter named Stefania.
