Фёдор Бондарчук
Fyodor Sergeyevich Bondarchuk (Russian: Фёдор Серге́евич Бондарчу́к; born May 9, 1967) is a Russian film director, actor, TV and radio host, and music video director.
Bondarchuk was born in Moscow, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union, to actor Sergei Bondarchuk and actress Irina Skobtseva. He graduated from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in 1991. He made his directorial debut with the 1993 film "The 9th Company", which was a commercial success. He has since directed several other successful films, including "The Inhabited Island" (2009), "Stalingrad" (2013), and "Attraction" (2017).
Bondarchuk has also acted in several films, including "Boris Godunov" (1986), "The 9th Company", and "Stalingrad". He has also hosted several TV and radio shows, including "The Last Hero" (2001-2002) and "The Voice" (2012-present).
Bondarchuk is a member of the Russian Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He is also a recipient of several awards, including the Nika Award for Best Director for "The 9th Company" and the Golden Eagle Award for Best Director for "Stalingrad".
In 2019, Bondarchuk was appointed as the artistic director of the Moscow Film Festival.
Bondarchuk is married to actress Svetlana Bondarchuk. They have two children, Sergei and Varvara.
