Emma Marrone

Emma Marrone (born 25 May 1984) is an Italian pop rock singer. She rose to fame after winning the ninth season of the Italian talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi in 2010. She has since released six studio albums, all of which have been certified platinum or higher in Italy. Marrone has also represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest twice, in 2012 and 2014.

Marrone was born and raised in Aradeo, Apulia, Italy. She began singing at an early age and performed in local talent shows throughout her childhood. In 2010, she auditioned for the ninth season of Amici di Maria De Filippi, one of Italy's most popular talent shows. She quickly became a fan favorite and eventually won the competition.

After winning Amici, Marrone released her debut album, A Me Piace Così, in 2010. The album was a commercial success, selling over 100,000 copies in Italy and earning her a nomination for Best New Artist at the MTV Europe Music Awards. In 2012, Marrone represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Non è l'inferno". She finished 21st out of 26 countries.

Marrone's second album, Sarò libera, was released in 2013. The album was also a commercial success, selling over 100,000 copies in Italy. In 2014, Marrone represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest again, this time with the song "La mia città". She finished 23rd out of 26 countries.

Marrone's third album, Adesso, was released in 2015. The album was a commercial success, selling over 150,000 copies in Italy. In 2016, Marrone released her fourth album, Fortuna. The album was also a commercial success, selling over 100,000 copies in Italy.

In 2018, Marrone released her fifth album, Essere qui. The album was a commercial success, selling over 100,000 copies in Italy. In 2020, Marrone released her sixth album, Fortuna. The album was a commercial success, selling over 100,000 copies in Italy.

Marrone has won numerous awards throughout her career, including three MTV Europe Music Awards, two Rockol Awards, and a Wind Music Award. She has also toured extensively throughout Europe and has performed at some of the world's most prestigious venues, including the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Marrone is known for her powerful voice, energetic performances, and outspoken personality. She is also a role model for many young people in Italy and is often praised for her honesty and authenticity.
