Bich Phuong
Bích Phương (born September 30, 1989), also known as Bích Phương Idol, is a Vietnamese singer-songwriter. She came to fame after finishing as the runner-up on the first season of Vietnam Idol in 2008.
Career
Bích Phương was born and raised in Quảng Ninh, Vietnam. She started singing at a young age and won several local singing competitions. In 2008, she auditioned for the first season of Vietnam Idol and made it to the top 10. She was eventually eliminated in the final round, but her performance on the show earned her a large following of fans.
After Vietnam Idol, Bích Phương signed with a record label and released her debut album, "Âm thầm bên em" (Silently by Your Side), in 2009. The album was a commercial success and spawned several hit singles, including "Có khi" (Sometimes) and "Mình yêu nhau đi" (Let's Love Each Other).
Bích Phương's subsequent albums, including "Nơi em dừng chân" (Where I Stop) in 2011 and "Không gian của riêng em" (My Own Space) in 2013, were also commercially successful. However, it was her fourth album, "Bùa yêu" (Love Charm), released in 2015, that truly catapulted her to stardom. The album spawned several hit singles, including "Bùa yêu" (Love Charm), "Gửi anh xa nhớ" (Sending My Love to You), and "Đi đu đưa đi" (Let's Swing), all of which topped the Vietnamese music charts.
Since the release of "Bùa yêu", Bích Phương has continued to release hit singles and albums. She has also appeared in several films and television shows. In 2019, she was named one of the most popular singers in Vietnam by Forbes Vietnam.
Personal life
Bích Phương is known for her private personal life. She is not married and does not have any children. She is also known for her love of animals and has several pets, including dogs, cats, and rabbits.
