Anthony Carrigan: From Broadway to the Big Screen
Anthony Carrigan is an American actor, writer, and comedian. He is best known for his roles as Victor Zsasz in the Fox television series Gotham and NoHo Hank in the HBO series Barry.
Early Life and Career
Carrigan was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on January 2, 1983. He attended Boston College, where he studied theater. After graduating, he moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting.
Carrigan made his Broadway debut in 2010 in the play The Glass Menagerie. He went on to appear in several other Broadway productions, including The Front Page, The Glass Menagerie, and The Mystery of Love & Sex.
In 2014, Carrigan made his television debut in the Fox series Gotham. He played the role of Victor Zsasz, a serial killer who targets Gotham City's elite. Carrigan's performance was praised by critics, and he was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor on Television.
Barry and NoHo Hank
In 2018, Carrigan joined the cast of the HBO series Barry. He plays the role of NoHo Hank, a Chechen gangster who is trying to make a name for himself in Los Angeles. Carrigan's performance has been praised by critics, and he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Television Series.
