Stefanie Sun

Stefanie Sun Yanzi (born July 23, 1978) is a Singaporean singer-songwriter. She is one of the most popular and successful singers in Asia, having sold over 30 million records worldwide. Sun has won numerous awards, including 25 Golden Melody Awards, 19 MTV Asia Awards, and 5 World Music Awards. She is the only Asian artist to have won the World Music Award for Best Selling Asian Artist three times.

Sun was born in Singapore to Chinese parents. She began singing at a young age and released her debut album, Yanzi, in 1999.
