Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra Jonas (born 18 July 1982) is an Indian actress, singer, film producer, and philanthropist. One of India's highest-paid and most popular celebrities, Chopra has received numerous awards, including two National Film Awards and five Filmfare Awards. In 2016, the Government of India honoured her with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honour, and Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
Chopra was born and raised in Jamshedpur, Bihar (now Jharkhand), India. She began her career as a model and won the Miss World pageant in 2000. Chopra made her acting debut in the Tamil film Thamizhan (2002) and her Hindi film debut in The Hero: Love Story of a Spy (2003). She had her breakthrough with the romantic comedy Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004) and went on to star in a number of successful films, including Aitraaz (2004), Krrish (2006), Don (2006), Fashion (2008), Kaminey (2009), 7 Khoon Maaf (2011), Barfi!
