Chi Pu
Chi Pu (born July 14, 1993) is a Vietnamese singer, songwriter, actress, and model. She rose to fame in 2009 after winning the reality television singing competition "The Voice Vietnam". Since then, she has released four studio albums, starred in several films and television dramas, and become one of the most popular celebrities in Vietnam.
Chi Pu was born in Hanoi, Vietnam. She began singing at a young age and joined the Hanoi Children's Choir when she was 10 years old. She later studied at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
In 2009, Chi Pu auditioned for the reality television singing competition "The Voice Vietnam". She was selected as a contestant and became a member of team Hồ Ngọc Hà. She eventually won the competition and was awarded a recording contract with Universal Music Vietnam.
Chi Pu's debut album, "Giấc Mơ Thiên Đường", was released in 2010. The album was a commercial success, selling over 100,000 copies in Vietnam. She followed up with her second album, "Em Là Bà Nội Của Anh", in 2012. The album was also a commercial success, selling over 50,000 copies in Vietnam.
In 2013, Chi Pu made her acting debut in the film "Giải Cứu Thần Chết". She has since starred in several other films and television dramas, including "Yêu", "Hà Nội, Em Yêu Anh", and "Vệ Sĩ Sài Gòn".
Chi Pu is one of the most popular celebrities in Vietnam. She has over 10 million followers on Instagram and over 5 million followers on Facebook. She has also won numerous awards, including the Golden Kite Award for Best Actress in a Television Series and the Mai Vàng Award for Best Singer.
