Jorge Valdivia

Jorge Luis Valdivia Toro (born October 19, 1983) is a Chilean professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder.

Valdivia started his career at Colo-Colo. After winning the 2006 Apertura tournament, he joined Brazilian club Palmeiras. He made his debut in the 2006 Brasileirão, playing 14 matches and scoring 4 goals. He left the club in 2008 due to personal problems.

In 2008, Valdivia returned to Colo-Colo and helped the team win the 2008 Apertura tournament. He was also named the best player of the tournament. In 2009, he moved to United Arab Emirates club Al Ain. He won the league title in 2010 and 2011.

In 2012, Valdivia returned to Colo-Colo for a third time. He helped the team win the 2012 Clausura tournament and was named the best player of the tournament. In 2013, he moved to Brazilian club Palmeiras for a second time. He helped the team win the 2013 Copa do Brasil.

In 2014, Valdivia returned to Colo-Colo for a fourth time. He helped the team win the 2014 Apertura tournament and was named the best player of the tournament. In 2015, he moved to Mexican club Monarcas Morelia.

In 2016, Valdivia returned to Colo-Colo for a fifth time. He helped the team win the 2016 Apertura tournament and was named the best player of the tournament. In 2017, he moved to Brazilian club Vasco da Gama.

In 2018, Valdivia returned to Colo-Colo for a sixth time. He helped the team win the 2018 Supercopa de Chile.

Valdivia has made 70 appearances for the Chile national team and scored 7 goals. He was part of the team that won the 2015 Copa América.

Valdivia is known for his excellent passing skills, dribbling ability, and goalscoring prowess. He is considered to be one of the best Chilean footballers of his generation.
