Early life and career
Eduardo Camavinga was born on November 10, 2002, in Miconge, Angola. He moved to France with his family at the age of two and grew up in the city of Fougères. Camavinga began playing football at the local club, Stade Rennais, at the age of six. He quickly rose through the ranks and made his professional debut for the club in August 2019, at the age of 16.
Club career
Camavinga quickly established himself as one of the most promising young players in Europe. He was named the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year in 2020 and was also included in the UEFA Champions League Squad of the Season. In August 2021, Camavinga joined Real Madrid for a fee of €31 million. He has since made over 50 appearances for the club and has won the La Liga title, the UEFA Champions League, and the UEFA Super Cup.
International career
Camavinga made his debut for the France national team in September 2020. He was part of the squad that won the UEFA Nations League in 2021 and was also included in the squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
