Eugenio Derbez is a Mexican actor, comedian, producer, director, and screenwriter. He is one of the most successful Hispanic actors in Hollywood, and has starred in numerous films and television shows in both Spanish and English.

Early Life and Career

Eugenio Derbez was born on September 2, 1961, in Mexico City, Mexico. He is the son of actor Eugenio Derbez Sr. and actress Silvia Derbez. Derbez began his career in entertainment as a child, appearing in television commercials and soap operas. In the early 1990s, he gained popularity as a comedian on the Mexican television show "Derbez en Cuando".

Film and Television Career

In 1997, Derbez made his film debut in the Mexican comedy "No Eres Tú, Soy Yo". He went on to star in a number of successful Mexican films, including "La misma Luna" (2007), "No Se Aceptan Devoluciones" (2013), and "Cómo ser un Latin Lover" (2017).

Derbez has also had a successful career in Hollywood. He made his English-language debut in the 2011 film "Jack and Jill", and has since starred in films such as "Instructions Not Included" (2013), "The Book of Life" (2014), and "Dora and the Lost City of Gold" (2019).
