Mahiya Mahi (born Parimoni Ahmed; 21 October 1988) is a Bangladeshi film actress, model and producer. Hailed as one of the most successful, influential and commercially viable actresses of Bengali cinema and one of the highest paid actresses in Bangladesh, Mahi has received numerous accolades, including three National Film Awards for Best Actress.

Life and career

Mahi was born on 21 October 1988 in Jessore District, Bangladesh to Abdur Rashid and Amina Khatun. She completed her higher secondary education from Jessore Zilla School. She started her career as a model in 2007 and made her film debut in 2009 with the film Bhalobashar Rong. She gained popularity with her performance in the film and went on to star in a number of commercially successful films, including Premer Jajabor (2010), Khodar Pore Ma (2010), Dhola Naye Jholai (2011), and Purno Doirgho Premer Golpo (2013).

Mahi's performance in the film Agnee (2014) earned her the National Film Award for Best Actress. She won the award again in 2015 for her performance in the film Shikari and in 2017 for her performance in the film Dhaka Attack.

In addition to her acting career, Mahi is also a producer. She has produced several films, including Bhalobashar Rong (2009), Premer Jajabor (2010), and Shikari (2015).

Mahi is married to actor Rakibul Alam Rakib. The couple has one son.
