Michael Caine is an English actor who has appeared in more than 160 films and television shows throughout his career. He is one of the most successful and critically acclaimed actors of all time, having won two Academy Awards, three BAFTA Awards, and a Golden Globe Award.

Caine was born in London, England, in 1933. He began his acting career in the early 1950s, appearing in small roles in films and television shows. He gained his breakthrough role in the 1964 war film Zulu, in which he played a British soldier fighting against the Zulu army.
