Goran Pandev
Goran Pandev (born July 27, 1983) is a Macedonian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Italian club Genoa and the North Macedonia national team. He is the all-time leading goalscorer for North Macedonia with 38 goals.
Pandev began his career with Belasica before moving to Inter Milan in 2001. He spent six seasons with Inter, winning the Serie A title in 2006, 2007, and 2008, and the Coppa Italia in 2005 and 2006. He also had loan spells with Lazio and Napoli during his time with Inter.
In 2009, Pandev joined Manchester City for a fee of £7 million. He spent two seasons with City, scoring 10 goals in 54 appearances. He then joined Napoli in 2011, where he won the Coppa Italia in 2012 and the Supercoppa Italiana in 2014.
In 2015, Pandev joined Genoa on a free transfer. He has since made over 100 appearances for the club, scoring 20 goals.
Pandev has represented North Macedonia at the international level since 2001. He has made over 100 appearances for his country, scoring 38 goals. He has captained the team since 2011.
Pandev is known for his pace, dribbling skills, and goalscoring ability. He is considered one of the best players in the history of Macedonian football.
