Angelababy

Angelababy (born Angela Yeung Wing)[1] (Chinese: 楊穎; pinyin: Yáng Yǐng; born February 28, 1989)[2] is a Hong Kong[3] model, actress and singer based in mainland China. She is considered one of the New Four Dan Blondes after appearing in several television dramas, including Love in Spring (2009), Angelababy (2012), The Bride with White Hair (2012) and My Love from the Star (2014), as well as films such as Love on Credit (2011), First Time (2012), Tiny Times (2013), Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon (2013), Bride Wars (2015), Murder on the Orient Express (2017) and Independence Day: Resurgence (2016).

Angelababy was born in Shanghai, China, to a Chinese father and a German mother.[4] She moved to Hong Kong with her family in 1990.[5] She attended Notre Dame College for her secondary education.[6]

Angelababy began her modeling career in 2003, when she was 14 years old.[7] She quickly became one of the most popular models in Hong Kong, and appeared in numerous advertisements and fashion magazines.[8] In 2007, she made her acting debut in the film Trivial Matters.[9]

Angelababy's breakthrough role came in the 2009 television drama Love in Spring.[10] She played the role of a young woman who falls in love with a man from a wealthy family. The drama was a huge success, and Angelababy quickly became a household name in China.[11]

Since then, Angelababy has starred in numerous television dramas and films, including Angelababy (2012), The Bride with White Hair (2012), My Love from the Star (2014), Love on Credit (2011), First Time (2012), Tiny Times (2013), Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon (2013), Bride Wars (2015), Murder on the Orient Express (2017) and Independence Day: Resurgence (2016).

Angelababy has also released several singles, including "Baby Angel" (2010), "Everyday Love" (2011), "My Microphone" (2012) and "Happy Family" (2013).

Angelababy is married to the Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming.[12] They have a son together.[13]

Angelababy is one of the most popular celebrities in China. She has over 100 million followers on Weibo, the Chinese social media platform.[14] She is also a brand ambassador for numerous luxury brands, including Dior, Chanel and Louis Vuitton.[15]
