Ushna Shah is a Pakistani actress who appears in Urdu television serials. She is best known for her roles in the serials Bashar Momin, Alif Allah Aur Insaan, Jalan, and Parizaad.
Early life and education
Shah was born on March 12, 1990, in Lahore, Pakistan. She completed her schooling from Lahore Grammar School and then went on to study law at the University of London. However, she dropped out of law school after two years to pursue a career in acting.
Career
Shah made her acting debut in 2013 with a role in the serial Bashar Momin. She went on to appear in a number of other serials, including Alif Allah Aur Insaan, Jalan, and Parizaad. She has also appeared in a few films, including Dukhtar (2014) and Saya e Khuda e Zuljalal (2017).
Shah has received critical acclaim for her performances in a number of her serials. She won the ARY Digital Award for Best Actress in a Drama Serial for her role in Bashar Momin. She was also nominated for the Hum Award for Best Actress in a Drama Serial for her role in Alif Allah Aur Insaan.
Personal life
Shah is married to actor Hamza Ali Abbasi. The couple have a son, Hamzah Ali Khan, who was born in 2019.
