Nikos Aliagas
Nikos Aliagas (born May 13, 1969) is a Greek-French television presenter, producer, and actor. He is best known for hosting the French version of the reality television show Star Academy, as well as the morning talk show Le Grand 8 and the music competition show The Voice: la plus belle voix. Aliagas has also hosted several major events, including the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 and the Cannes Film Festival.
Early life and career
Nikos Aliagas was born in Paris, France, to Greek parents. He studied journalism and communication at the Sorbonne University. After graduating, he began his career as a radio host on Radio France Internationale. In 1993, he joined the French television network TF1 as a news reporter.
Star Academy
In 2001, Aliagas was chosen to host the French version of the reality television show Star Academy. The show was a huge success, and Aliagas quickly became one of the most popular television presenters in France. He hosted Star Academy for nine seasons, until it was canceled in 2013.
The Voice: la plus belle voix
In 2012, Aliagas began hosting the French version of the music competition show The Voice: la plus belle voix. The show is a huge success, and Aliagas has been praised for his hosting skills. He has hosted The Voice for eight seasons, and it is currently one of the most popular shows on French television.
Other work
In addition to his work on Star Academy and The Voice, Aliagas has also hosted several major events, including the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 and the Cannes Film Festival. He has also starred in several films, including Taxi 4 (2007) and La Vérité si je mens ! 3 (2012).
Personal life
Aliagas is married to Greek-French actress Christina Rady. They have two children, a son named Andreas and a daughter named Agathe. Aliagas is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
