Diana Dill

Diana Dill (December 26, 1923 – October 3, 2015) was an American actress of stage, film, and television.

Early life

Dill was born in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Mabel (née Meyer) and George Dill Jr. She attended the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where she studied journalism.

Career

Dill began her acting career in the early 1950s, appearing in a number of Broadway productions. She made her film debut in the 1953 film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. Dill went on to appear in a number of other films, including The Man from Laramie (1955), The Land Unknown (1957), and The FBI Story (1959).

In the 1960s, Dill began appearing in television series. She had recurring roles on the shows The Twilight Zone, The Fugitive, and The Wild Wild West. Dill also appeared in a number of made-for-television movies, including The Night Stalker (1972) and The Deadly Tower (1975).

Dill continued to act into the 1990s. She appeared in the films Hoffa (1992) and The Sandlot (1993). Dill also had a recurring role on the television series Judging Amy (1999–2005).

Personal life

Dill was married to actor Douglas Fairbanks Jr. from 1953 to 1963. The couple had one son, Douglas Fairbanks III. Dill was also married to actor Warren Stevens from 1973 to 1975.

Death

Dill died of natural causes on October 3, 2015, at the age of 91.
