Robert Lewandowski
Robert Lewandowski (born August 21, 1988) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a striker for La Liga club Barcelona and the Poland national team. Widely regarded as one of the best strikers of all time, Lewandowski is the all-time top goalscorer for both Poland and Bayern Munich.
Lewandowski began his career at Delta Warsaw before moving to Legia Warsaw in 2006. He won the Ekstraklasa title with Legia in 2006-07 and was the league's top scorer in 2009-10. In 2010, Lewandowski joined Borussia Dortmund, where he won two Bundesliga titles and the DFB-Pokal.
Lewandowski moved to Bayern Munich in 2014 and has since won eight Bundesliga titles, three DFB-Pokals, five DFL Supercups, the UEFA Champions League, and the UEFA Super Cup. He has also been named Bundesliga Player of the Season five times and has won the European Golden Shoe twice.
Lewandowski is the all-time top goalscorer for Bayern Munich, with over 300 goals in all competitions. He is also the all-time top goalscorer for the Poland national team, with over 70 goals.
Personal life
Robert Lewandowski is married to Anna Lewandowska, a karate champion and nutritionist. They have two daughters together. Lewandowski is a devout Catholic and is involved in a number of charitable organizations. He is a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF and has also worked with the Polish Red Cross.
