Bryan Brown
Bryan Brown (born 23 June 1947) is an Australian actor, director, and producer.
Film career
Brown began his acting career in the early 1970s, appearing in a number of Australian films, including "The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith" (1978), "Breaker Morant" (1980), and "Gallipoli" (1981). He gained international recognition for his role in the 1983 film "Thorn Birds", which also starred Rachel Ward.
Brown has since appeared in a wide variety of films, including "F/X" (1986), "Cocktail" (1988), "Gorillas in the Mist" (1988), "Dead Calm" (1989), "Two Hands" (1999), and "Australia" (2008).
Television career
Brown has also had a successful television career, appearing in a number of Australian and international productions. He is best known for his role as Ned Kelly in the 1978 Australian television miniseries "The Last Outlaw".
