Arman Tsarukyan
Arman Tsarukyan (born October 21, 1996) is an Armenian mixed martial artist who competes in the Lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). As of January 17, 2023, he is #11 in the UFC lightweight rankings.
Background
Tsarukyan was born in Echmiadzin, Armenia. He began training in wrestling at a young age, and eventually transitioned to mixed martial arts. He made his professional MMA debut in 2015, and quickly compiled a record of 10-1.
UFC Career
Tsarukyan signed with the UFC in 2019. He made his promotional debut against Islam Makhachev at UFC 254, and lost the fight via unanimous decision. He then rebounded with a win over Matt Frevola at UFC Fight Night: Font vs. Garbrandt.
In his next fight, Tsarukyan faced Christos Giagos at UFC 265. He won the fight via unanimous decision, and earned a Performance of the Night bonus.
Tsarukyan is scheduled to face Mateusz Gamrot at UFC Fight Night: Tsarukyan vs. Gamrot on June 25, 2023.

Tsarukyan is a well-rounded fighter who is comfortable striking and grappling. He is known for his powerful striking and his excellent wrestling skills. He is also a submission specialist, and has won several fights by submission.
Personal Life
Tsarukyan is married and has two children. He is also a devout Christian.
