Carl Llewellyn Hooper (born 15 December 1966) is a Guyanese former cricketer who played for the West Indies cricket team. He was a right-handed batsman and right-arm off-spin bowler. He was a member of the West Indies team that won the 1979 Cricket World Cup.
Hooper made his Test debut for the West Indies against Pakistan in 1987. He scored a century in his first Test innings, and went on to score over 6,000 runs in 102 Tests. He also took 132 wickets with his off-spin bowling.
Hooper was a key member of the West Indies team that won the 1979 Cricket World Cup. He scored 116 runs in the tournament, including a century in the final against England.
Hooper retired from international cricket in 2003. He is now a cricket commentator.
