Biography

Ricardo Montaner is a Venezuelan-Argentine singer, songwriter, producer, actor, and television personality. He is known for his romantic ballads and Latin pop songs. Montaner has sold over 25 million records worldwide and has won numerous awards, including five Latin Grammy Awards and a Grammy Award.

Montaner was born in Valentín Alsina, Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Argentine parents. He began his musical career in the early 1970s as a member of the band La Pequeña Compañía. In 1982, he released his first solo album, "Ricardo Montaner." The album was a commercial success and spawned the hit singles "Tan Enamorados" and "Yo Que Te Amé."

Montaner continued to release successful albums throughout the 1980s and 1990s. His most successful albums include "Ricardo Montaner II" (1983), "Ricardo Montaner III" (1986), "Un Toque de Misterio" (1988), "En Tiempo Real" (1991), and "Sueño Dorado" (1993).

In 1994, Montaner married Marlene Rodríguez Miranda. The couple have three children together: Evaluna Montaner, Mau Montaner, and Ricky Montaner.

Montaner continued to release successful albums in the 2000s and 2010s. His most successful albums include "Amarte Es Un Placer" (2001), "Para Ti" (2003), "Las Mejores Canciones del Mundo" (2006), "Todo y Nada" (2008), and "Viajero Frecuente" (2011).

In addition to his music career, Montaner has also appeared in several films and television shows. He has also hosted his own talk show, "La Voz... México."
