Aamir Khan (born 14 March 1965), also known as Aamir Hussain Khan, is an Indian actor, film producer, television host, director, and writer. Through his career spanning over 30 years in Hindi films, Khan has established himself as one of the most popular and influential actors of Indian cinema. He has won numerous awards, including nine Filmfare Awards, four National Film Awards, and an Academy Award nomination.
Khan began his acting career as a child actor in his uncle Nasir Hussain's film Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973). Personal life
Aamir Khan was born on 14 March 1965 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He is the son of Tahir Hussain, a film producer, and Zeenat Hussain. Khan has two brothers, Faisal Khan and Nikhat Khan, and a sister, Farhat Khan.
Khan was married to Reena Dutta from 1986 to 2002. They have two children together, a son named Junaid and a daughter named Ira. In 2011, Khan married Kiran Rao, a film producer and director. They have a son named Azad Rao Khan.
