Ahmed Mekky

Ahmed Mekky (born June 19, 1980) is an Egyptian actor, comedian, and screenwriter. He rose to fame for his role as "Hassan El-Bardisi" in the Egyptian TV series El-Kebeer Awy, which aired from 2010 to 2019.

Early life and career: Mekky was born in Cairo, Egypt. He began his acting career in 2003 with a small role in the TV series Ahalina. He then appeared in several other TV series and films, including Lan A'eesh Fi Gelbab Abi (2004), El-A'elah El-Setteya (2005), and El-Mashrafa (2007).

Breakthrough and success: Mekky's breakthrough role came in 2010 when he was cast as "Hassan El-Bardisi" in the Egyptian TV series El-Kebeer Awy. The series was a huge success, and Mekky quickly became one of the most popular comedians in Egypt. He starred in seven seasons of the series, which ended in 2019.

Other projects: In addition to his work on El-Kebeer Awy, Mekky has also appeared in several films, including El-Fil El-Azraq 2 (2014), El-Kisr El-Sagheer (2015), and Selfie (2017). He has also written and directed several short films, including The Target (2011) and The Proposal (2013).

International recognition: Mekky's popularity has extended beyond Egypt, and he has gained a following in other Arabic-speaking countries. In 2013, he was nominated for an International Emmy Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in El-Kebeer Awy.

Personal life: Mekky is married to actress Yasmine Abdel Aziz. They have two children together.
