Jeffrey Marshall Foxworthy (born January 6, 1958) is an American comedian, actor, author, and television personality. He is best known for his observational comedy routines about Southern culture, particularly the people and experiences of the American South. His most famous catchphrase is "You might be a redneck if...".
Foxworthy was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in the Atlanta suburb of Hapeville. He attended Georgia State University for two years before dropping out to pursue a career in comedy. He began performing stand-up comedy in 1984, and quickly became one of the most popular comedians in the United States. He has released several comedy albums, including "You Might Be a Redneck If..." (1993), which is one of the best-selling comedy albums of all time.
In addition to his stand-up comedy career, Foxworthy has also appeared in several films and television shows. He has had his own television show, "The Jeff Foxworthy Show", and he has also appeared in films such as "The Waterboy" (1998), "Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie" (2003), and "The Kingdom" (2007).
