Genta Ismajli is an Albanian-American actress, model, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Albania 2015. She represented Albania at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant, where she placed in the Top 15.

Early life and education

Ismajli was born on February 10, 1994, in Pristina, Kosovo, to Albanian parents. She moved to the United States with her family at the age of one. She grew up in Queens, New York, and attended the High School of Fashion Industries. After graduating from high school, she attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she studied fashion design.

Pageantry

In 2014, Ismajli competed in the Miss New York USA pageant, where she placed in the Top 10. The following year, she competed in the Miss Universe Albania pageant, where she was crowned Miss Universe Albania 2015.

As Miss Universe Albania 2015, Ismajli represented Albania at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant, which was held in Las Vegas, Nevada. She placed in the Top 15, making her the first Albanian woman to place in the semifinals of the Miss Universe pageant.

Acting and modeling career

After her reign as Miss Universe Albania, Ismajli pursued a career in acting and modeling. She has appeared in several short films and television commercials, and she has also modeled for various brands.

In 2017, Ismajli made her feature film debut in the horror film "The Amityville Murders." She also had a recurring role on the television series "The Originals."

In 2018, Ismajli was cast as the lead role in the upcoming superhero film "Nova." She will also star in the upcoming films "The Haunting of Sharon Tate" and "The Curse of La Llorona."

Personal life

Ismajli is married to actor and model Robert Buckley. They have one child together, a daughter named Harley Rose Buckley.

Ismajli is fluent in Albanian, English, and Italian. She is also a supporter of various charitable organizations, including the American Red Cross and the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
