Henny Huisman
Henny Huisman (born 18 June 1941) is a Dutch television presenter, singer, and actor.
Early life and career
Huisman was born in Zaandam, Netherlands. He started his career as a radio host in the early 1960s. In 1964, he made his television debut as a presenter on the Dutch television show "AVRO's Telebingo". He hosted the show for the next 12 years, and it became one of the most popular shows on Dutch television.
In 1976, Huisman left AVRO to join the commercial television channel Veronica. He hosted a number of successful shows on Veronica, including "The Henny Huisman Show" (1976-1981), "Huisman & Ko" (1981-1983), and "Huisman & the Seven Arts" (1983-1987).
In 1987, Huisman returned to AVRO. He hosted a number of successful shows on AVRO, including "Soundmixshow" (1989-1995), "All You Need Is Love" (1996-1999), and "Huisman & the Piano" (1999-2006).
Since 2006, Huisman has been hosting the show "Huisman op Zondag" on the Dutch television channel Omroep MAX.
Personal life
Huisman has been married twice. He has two children from his first marriage.
Awards and honors
Huisman has won numerous awards for his work in television. In 1980, he won the Golden Televizier-Ring for his work on "The Henny Huisman Show". In 1989, he won the Golden Televizier-Ring again for his work on "Soundmixshow". In 2006, he was awarded the Order of Orange-Nassau for his contributions to Dutch television.
