Nikolaj Lie Kaas
Nikolaj Lie Kaas (born 22 May 1979) is a Danish actor. He is best known for his roles in the films The Killing (2011), The Bridge (2011–2018), and Riders of Justice (2020).
Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, Kaas began his acting career in the early 1990s, appearing in a number of Danish films and television shows. In 2002, he won the Bodil Award for Best Actor for his performance in the film The Green Butchers.
Kaas's international breakthrough came in 2011, when he starred in the Danish television series The Killing. The series was a critical and commercial success, and Kaas's performance as police officer Martin Rohde was praised by critics.
In 2013, Kaas starred in the Swedish-Danish television series The Bridge. The series was also a critical and commercial success, and Kaas's performance as police officer Saga Norén was praised by critics.
Kaas has since appeared in a number of films and television shows, including The Absent One (2014), A Conspiracy of Faith (2016), and Riders of Justice (2020).
