Marion Cotillard
Marion Cotillard is a French actress, singer, songwriter, and environmentalist. She is the recipient of numerous accolades, including an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe Award, and two César Awards.
Cotillard was born in Paris on September 30, 1975. She began acting in theater in the early 1990s, and made her film debut in 1994. Cotillard gained international recognition for her roles in the films Big Fish (2003), A Very Long Engagement (2004), and La Vie en Rose (2007), for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress.
Since then, Cotillard has appeared in a number of critically acclaimed films, including Nine (2009), Inception (2010), Midnight in Paris (2011), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), and Macbeth (2015). She has also won two César Awards for her performances in the films La Vie en Rose and Rust and Bone (2012).
In addition to her acting career, Cotillard is also a singer and songwriter. She has released two albums, Marion Cotillard Chante Edith Piaf (2007) and The Lady Sings the Blues (2015).
Cotillard is also an environmentalist. She is a supporter of the Green Party in France, and has spoken out against climate change. She is also a member of the board of directors of the environmental organization Greenpeace.
Personal life
Cotillard is in a relationship with actor Guillaume Canet. They have two children together, a son, Marcel, born in 2011, and a daughter, Louise, born in 2017.
