Career

Shawn Roberts is a Canadian actor who has appeared in over 100 films and television shows. He is best known for his roles as Jefferson Twilight in the "Resident Evil" franchise, Mike Scarn in "The Office," and Owen Elliot in "Smallville."

Roberts began his acting career in 1997 with a small role in the film "The Wrong Guy." He went on to appear in a number of other films and television shows, including "Disturbing Behavior" (1998), "Edgemont" (2001-2005), and "Tru Calling" (2003-2004).

In 2002, Roberts landed his breakout role as Jefferson Twilight in the film "Resident Evil." He reprised the role in two sequels, "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" (2004) and "Resident Evil: Extinction" (2007).

In 2005, Roberts joined the cast of the American comedy series "The Office." He played the role of Mike Scarn, a regional manager from Scranton, Pennsylvania. Roberts appeared in a total of six episodes of the show.

In 2006, Roberts landed a recurring role in the superhero drama series "Smallville." He played the role of Owen Elliot, a student at Smallville High School who is secretly a metahuman with the ability to control weather. Roberts appeared in a total of 11 episodes of the show.

In addition to his work in film and television, Roberts has also done voice work for a number of animated films and video games. He has also appeared in several stage productions, including a production of "Romeo and Juliet" at the Stratford Festival in 2010.

Personal Life

Roberts was born in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. He is the son of David Roberts, a former professional hockey player, and Debbie Roberts, a homemaker. Roberts has two younger sisters, Brianne and Karen.

Roberts attended the University of Western Ontario, where he studied drama. He graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Roberts is married to Sarah Armstrong, a Canadian actress. They have two children together, Esmé Irene Roberts and Lyla Rose Roberts.

Roberts is an avid sports fan. He is a supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team and the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team. He is also a fan of golf and tennis.
