Masahiro Higashide

Masahiro Higashide (東出 昌大, Higashide Masahiro, born February 1, 1988) is a Japanese actor and model. He is represented with Horipro.

Career

Higashide began his career as a model in 2005. He made his acting debut in the 2009 film "Tokyo Tribe". In 2010, he starred in the film "BECK". In 2011, he won the Japan Academy Film Prize for Best Newcomer for his role in the film "Parasyte".

In 2012, Higashide starred in the film "The Kirishima Thing". In 2013, he starred in the film "The Great Passage". In 2014, he starred in the film "The Mole Song: Undercover Agent Reiji".

In 2015, Higashide starred in the film "Our Little Sister". In 2016, he starred in the film "Rage". In 2017, he starred in the film "The Third Murder".

In 2018, Higashide starred in the film "Asako I & II". In 2019, he starred in the film "The House Where the Mermaid Sleeps".

Personal life

In 2015, Higashide married actress Anne Watanabe. They have three children together. In 2020, it was announced that Higashide had an extramarital affair. He and Watanabe divorced in April 2020.
