Dan Bittman
Dan Bittman (born March 21, 1962) is a Romanian singer, songwriter, and television personality. He rose to fame as the lead vocalist of the Romanian rock band Holograf, which he co-founded in 1980. After leaving Holograf in 1990, Bittman embarked on a solo career, releasing multiple successful albums and singles. He has also appeared on several television shows, including as a judge on the Romanian version of The X Factor.
Bittman was born in Bucharest, Romania, and began playing the guitar at a young age. He formed his first band, Minirock, in 1978. Two years later, he co-founded Holograf, which quickly became one of the most popular rock bands in Romania. Holograf released a number of hit albums and singles in the 1980s, including "Hei, hei, ce zici?" (1983), "Să nu-mi iei niciodată dragostea" (1985), and "Undeva, în noapte" (1987).
In 1990, Bittman left Holograf to pursue a solo career. He released his debut solo album, "Lumea mea," in 1991. The album was a commercial success, and Bittman followed it up with a series of successful albums and singles, including "Ochii tăi" (1992), "Te iubesc" (1994), and "Viața mea" (1996).
In addition to his music career, Bittman has also appeared on several television shows. He was a judge on the Romanian version of The X Factor from 2011 to 2013. He has also hosted a number of other television shows, including "Dan Bittman Show" (1999-2001) and "Bittman Live" (2004-2006).
Bittman is one of the most popular singers in Romania. He has received numerous awards for his music, including the Romanian Music Awards for Best Male Singer in 1993, 1995, and 1997. He has also been awarded the Order of Cultural Merit by the Romanian government.
