Kelly Maria Ripa (née Consuelos; born October 2, 1970) is an American actress, talk show host, dancer, and producer. She is best known for her roles as Hayley Vaughan on the ABC soap opera All My Children (1990–2002) and Faith Fairfield on the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith (2003–2006). Since 2001, Ripa has co-hosted the syndicated morning talk show Live! with Kelly and Ryan (originally Live! with Regis and Kelly until 2011) alongside Ryan Seacrest.

Early Life and Career

Kelly Ripa was born in Berlin, New Jersey, to Esther (née Wertheimer), a homemaker, and Joseph Ripa, a bus driver. She has one brother, Michael. Ripa is of Italian and Irish descent.
