Moses Chan Ho (born 17 November 1971) is a Hong Kong actor. He is best known for his roles in TVB dramas such as Detective Investigation Files IV (1999), Armed Reaction (2000), Healing Hands II (2000), A Step into the Past (2001), Square Pegs (2002), War of In-Laws II (2003), Healing of the Soul (2005), Rosy Business (2009), Yes, Sir. Sorry, Sir! (2009), The Comeback Clan (2009), No Regrets (2010), Forensic Heroes III (2011), Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles (2012), Brothers Keeper (2013), Line Walker (2014), Will Power (2017), and Deep in the Realm of Conscience (2020).

Early life

Chan was born in Hong Kong on 17 November 1971, the youngest of three children. He has two older sisters. His father, Chan Koon-wah, was a businessman, and his mother, Wong Mei-ling, was a housewife. Chan attended St. Joseph's College, where he was a classmate of future actor Michael Tse. After graduating from secondary school, Chan worked as a model and a waiter. In 1993, he was scouted by TVB and joined the company's acting class.

Career

Chan made his acting debut in the 1994 TVB drama The New Justice Pao. He gained popularity in 1997 with his role as the villainous Lau Pak-ho in the drama A Kindred Spirit. In 1999, he starred in the hit drama Detective Investigation Files IV, which earned him a nomination for Best Actor at the TVB Anniversary Awards.

In the 2000s, Chan continued to star in popular TVB dramas, including Armed Reaction (2000), Healing Hands II (2000), A Step into the Past (2001), Square Pegs (2002), War of In-Laws II (2003), Healing of the Soul (2005), Rosy Business (2009), Yes, Sir. Sorry, Sir! (2009), The Comeback Clan (2009), No Regrets (2010), Forensic Heroes III (2011), Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles (2012), Brothers Keeper (2013), Line Walker (2014), Will Power (2017), and Deep in the Realm of Conscience (2020).

Chan has also appeared in several films, including My Left Eye Sees Ghosts (2002), The Park (2003), Throw Down (2004), Love on the Rocks (2004), Love Is Not All Around (2007), Turning Point (2009), 72 Hours (2010), I Love Hong Kong (2011), and L for Love L for Lies (2016).

Personal life

Chan married actress Aimee Chan in 2008. They have two children, a son and a daughter.
