Drake

Drake (born Aubrey Drake Graham; October 24, 1986) is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor. He is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with over 170 million records sold worldwide. Drake has won four Grammy Awards, six American Music Awards, and 34 BET Awards. He has also been nominated for two Academy Awards.

Drake was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He began his career as an actor on the Canadian teen drama series Degrassi: The Next Generation. In 2006, he left the show to pursue a career in music. Drake released his debut mixtape, Room for Improvement, in 2006. He followed it up with two more mixtapes, Comeback Season (2007) and So Far Gone (2009).

Drake's debut studio album, Thank Me Later, was released in 2010. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Drake's subsequent albums, Take Care (2011), Nothing Was the Same (2013), Views (2016), Scorpion (2018), and Certified Lover Boy (2021), were all commercial successes.

Drake is known for his unique musical style, which blends hip hop, R&B, and pop music. He is also known for his prolificacy, having released six studio albums and numerous mixtapes in a relatively short period of time.
