Early life and career

Henry Cavill was born on May 5, 1983, in Saint Helier, Jersey, British Crown Dependency. He is the fourth of five boys. Cavill attended Stowe School in Buckinghamshire, England.

Cavill began his acting career in 2001, with a role in the television film Laguna. He went on to appear in a number of television shows, including The Inspector Lynley Mysteries (2002–2003), Midsomer Murders (2003), and The Tudors (2007–2010).

Film career

Cavill made his film debut in 2002, with a small role in the film The Count of Monte Cristo. He went on to appear in a number of films, including Tristan & Isolde (2006), Stardust (2007), and Immortals (2011).

In 2013, Cavill landed his breakthrough role as Superman in the film Man of Steel. He went on to reprise the role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Justice League (2017).

In addition to his role as Superman, Cavill has also starred in a number of other films, including Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018), The Witcher (2019), and Enola Holmes (2020).

Personal life

Henry Cavill is a private person and does not share much about his personal life with the public. He is reportedly single.

Cavill is a keen gamer and has spoken about his love of video games in interviews. He is also a fan of rugby and football.
