Paul Pogba (born 15 March 1993) is a French professional footballer who plays for Serie A club Juventus and the France national team. He plays as a central midfielder, but can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder or a wide midfielder.
After playing for local teams, Pogba joined the youth academy of Le Havre in 2007, before moving to Manchester United in 2009. He made his debut for the Manchester United first team in 2011, and after failing to establish himself as a regular starter, he left the club in 2012 to join Juventus on a free transfer. In Turin, Pogba became one of the best young players in the world, winning four consecutive Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia titles, and three Supercoppa Italiana titles. He was also named to the FIFA FIFPro World11 and the UEFA Team of the Year in 2015 and 2016.
In 2016, Pogba returned to Manchester United for a then-world record transfer fee of £89 million. He won the EFL Cup and the UEFA Europa League in his first season back at the club. However, he struggled to maintain his form and consistency in subsequent seasons, and was often criticized for his performances. In 2022, he left Manchester United on a free transfer and rejoined Juventus.
Pogba made his debut for the France national team in 2013, and has since represented his country at the 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cups, as well as the 2016 and 2020 UEFA European Championships. He was part of the French team that won the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and was named to the Team of the Tournament.
Pogba is a highly skilled and versatile midfielder, known for his dribbling, passing, and shooting ability. He is also a good tackler and interceptor. However, he has been criticized for his inconsistency and lack of defensive discipline.

Paul Pogba is the son of Guinean parents, Fassou Antoine Pogba and Yeo Moriba. He has two older brothers, Florentin and Mathias, who are also professional footballers. Pogba is a Muslim.
